Let us start the list of cocktails named after World’s Famous Cities with Singapore Sling. As the name suggests this cocktail is from Singapore and was developed around 1915. The original name of this cocktail was the gin sling.
- 45ml gin
- 30ml Benedictine
- 15ml cherry liqueur
- 30ml lime juice

- 60ml club soda

• 22.5ml rye whiskey
• 15ml vermouth
• 1 dash angostura bitters
• Ice cubes
• Maraschino cherry
• In a shaker add all ingredients except cherry and shake with ice
• Strain into a glass
• Garnish it with cherry
3. The Bronx
This cocktail is named after New York’s five boroughs. It is related to Bronx Zoo, where the animals and beasts were related to the customers after drink.
• 60ml gin
• 7.5ml dry vermouth
• 7.5ml sweet vermouth
• 30ml fresh orange juice
• 1 dash orange bitters
• Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice
• Shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass
4. The Brooklyn
The Brooklyn has secured the fourth position in our list of cocktails named after World’s Famous Cities. The Manhattans, one of the most popular cocktails are its neighbors but this one is equally delicious. These both cocktails are somewhat similar and close but are completely different.
• 60ml whiskey
• 30ml dry vermouth
• 7.5ml Maraschino Liqueur
• Few dashes of Angostura bitters
• Combine all ingredients with ice and stir
• Put it in a cocktail glass
This is somewhat similar to martini and is a close cousin of the Bronx as the Queens contain pineapple juice while the Bronx has pineapple. Just as the name suggests, this cocktail can be queens of cocktails.

6. Chicago Fizz

• 30ml dark rum
• 30ml wine
• 15ml lemon juice
• ½ teaspoon sugar
• Club soda
• 1 Egg white
• Put all the ingredients in a shake and shake well
• Pour it into a Collins glass
• Top with Club Soda
7. Moscow Mule
It is also called vodka buck as this cocktail is a type of buck. It is served in a copper mug which takes the cold temperature of the liquid.
• 60ml Vodka
• 15ml lime juice
• 10ml Sugar cane syrup
• 90ml Ginger beer
• Pour the ingredients in the glass except for ginger beer and stir
• Top up with ginger beer and add ice

10. Cape Codder
